I'm not even sure what to say about this last week away. It might truly have been the best week of my life. I joined the WakeUp movement. I didn't actually do much at all. I may need to spend a summer in either the Plum Village, Deer Park, or Blue Cliff Monastery...

Me, in a monastery? I know, unthinkable.

I'm done?

Well, it's officially Tuesday, and I can't believe I'm up this late! I finally pulled out my 8 page paper for my English class, after many crappy drafts, and WAY too many meltdowns. But I think, just maybe, I'm done with the class...

Excitingly, I am leaving for my Buddhist retreat in MA today!! I'm so excited, but still not packed...*$@(&T@^ Maybe this week away (no phone, no internet, no work) will chill my nerves a bit. (And hopefully soften my language that's been flaring up, haha)

And here is a photo of one of the two girls I babysit for, whom I saw today. She's the younger sister. She told me I was as old as a guy on tv, who was probably 35. I responded by saying, but I'm only 19. She said "but..." with perfect comedic pause "I'm four."Well, she set me straight today. She's too cute for her own good sometimes.

Onto the Final Paper

If, indeed, it's learning that I love and want to do, I gotta get past this little snobbery of mine...

Psht. I got thrown out of class today (along with at least 2/3 of my class) for not being prepared, and reading the wrong book ( like the other 2/3 of the class...). I'm sure it's just that we're all lazy, disrespecting students who don't care. Yup, gotta be it.

Can I just say HOW MUCH I missed my girls this weekend?! I loved seeing my little brother perform, but I can't believe I missed the Seance! (again!) A year is too long for this, I need my Segi's!
